This suit was brought by appellee, Jim Woodward, against appellant and his wife, Martha Chappelle, to recover damages for personal injuries resulting from a collision which occurred about 11 o'clock a. m. on October 16, 1959, between an automobile driven by Mrs. Chappelle and an automobile driven by appellee in the City of Houston at the intersection of Sandpiper and Sharpview Streets, an open intersection...
