This is an appeal from a determination of the Appeals Council of the Social Security Administration which had affirmed a determination by the hearing examiner that plaintiff was not entitled to a determination of a period of disability or to disability benefits.

In order to be entitled to benefits, the plaintiff must show that he was under a disability on or before December 1, 1960...
