The injured party, Cynthia Dianne Whitmire, was the two-year-old daughter of Mrs. Geneva Morris, who lived with the appellant in the city of Houston. On September 12, 1960, Cynthia was brought to the office of Dr. L. D. Bricker by her mother, at which time she had certain contusions and bruises about her face...
