This is an action ex delicto for damages in the nature of personal injuries. The suit against the two insurance companies originally joined as party defendants was dismissed in view of the fact that the accident which was the cause of the plaintiff's injuries occurred in the State of Texas where the Direct Action Statute under Louisiana law would be inapplicable. For this reason, the sole remaining defendant is D. S. Norris, a resident of Morehouse Parish...
