Plaintiff, Mrs. Josephine B. Gregoire, instituted this action in tort to recover damages for the alleged wrongful death of her husband, Joseph Long Gregoire, who died as the result of injuries received when he was run over and struck, while lying prostrate on a public highway in an intoxicated condition, at approximately three o'clock in the morning, by a pick-up truck owned by Ariel Joseph Fontenot and being driven at the time of the accident by Fontenot...
