This is an appeal from a sentence imposed by this court upon defendant, William Walker.

On November 30, 1960, defendant was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and battery upon one Gladys Justis. Also that same day he was charged with robbery and aggravated assault and battery upon one Harold Johnson, and with receiving stolen goods from Johnson. On these charges, defendant was held in custody in default of $1,500 bail...
