Plaintiffs, as citizens, taxpayers, and electors of Kansas City, Missouri, filed this suit in an effort to obtain a writ of mandamus commanding defendant, City Clerk of Kansas City, to take certain action in regard to a referendum petition which had theretofore been filed with her. The trial court denied the relief sought. Upon appeal to the Kansas City Court of Appeals the judgment was reversed and cause remanded with directions to the trial court...
