No. 10059.

159 So.2d 342 (1963)

Ibe BRADFORD et al., Plaintiffs-Appellees, v. Mrs. G. C. PATTERSON et al., Defendants-Appellants.

Court of Appeal of Louisiana, Second Circuit.

Rehearing Denied January 9, 1964.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

Barham, Wright & Barham, Ruston, for appellants.

Holloway & Baker, Jonesboro, for appellees.

Before HARDY, GLADNEY, and AYRES, JJ.

AYRES, Judge.

By this action plaintiffs sought, first, the annulment of a tax sale and tax deed involving two separate noncontiguous tracts of land aggregating 110 acres, situated in Jackson Parish, Louisiana, or, in the alternative, a judgment recognizing their rights to and authorizing a redemption of the property. Defendants denied the tax sale was invalid and asserted ownership of the property by virtue of their tax deed.
