Mrs. Archer sued Mr. Archer for divorce on the ground of cruel treatment. She prayed for a divorce, for the custody of their child and her two children by a previous marriage, who had been adopted by Mr. Archer, and for partition of the community property. Upon the second trial of the case, the court granted Mrs. Archer a divorce and custody of the children but awarded insignificant community property...
