Young, the appellant herein, was indicted by the Grand Jury of Aiken County, at the 1962 May term of the Court of General Sessions, and charged in one indictment with the crimes of (1) assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature; (2) assault and battery with intent to kill; (3) pointing a pistol at a person; and (4) grand larceny.
