This is an action by a tenant against his landlord for damages for the alleged destruction of 1400 bushels of soybeans, valued at $1.50 per bushel, grown on lands leased by plaintiff from defendant. Plaintiff alleged that, due to inclement weather, he was unable to harvest these beans before the expiration of the lease at the end of the calendar year; that defendant refused him permission to harvest the crop thereafter.
