On the original hearing this Court affirmed a judgment based on a directed verdict in favor of The Title Guarantee Company against William H. Gleason, a title examining attorney, for damages sustained when various mortgages guaranteed as first mortgages on Gleason's certification of clear title, proved to be subordinate to other mortgages.
