This action in tort was brought by Boyd Mitchell and his wife against Mrs. Katie S. Brakefield, her husband and the National Surety Corporation. Claims are presented for damages by reason of personal injuries received by Mrs. Mitchell and Mrs. Brakefield, and stem from an automobile collision on August 20, 1960, at a point approximately one-half mile east of Red Hill, near Bastrop on U.
