In this action plaintiff-respondent recovered a verdict for actual damages for personal injuries sustained by the plaintiff while an employee of the defendant-appellant. The case was submitted to the jury on the issue of alleged negligence of the defendant in failing to provide proper equipment with which to do the work, the defenses being a general denial, assumption of risk and contributory negligence.
