This suit was instituted originally by Adraste Landreneau against John Ceasar (sometimes spelled Ceaser), as an action on a promissory note. No pleadings were filed by John Ceasar, and in due course a default money judgment was rendered in favor of plaintiff and against said defendant. The judgment creditor obtained the issuance of a writ of fieri facias, and under that writ he proposed to have the Sheriff seize and sell a certain lot of land in Allen...
