This is an action in tort wherein plaintiff, Henry Accardo, seeks recovery for personal injuries and attendant medical expense sustained and incurred as the result of an automobile accident in which plaintiff, a pedestrian, was struck by a 1959 Volkswagen owned and operated by Elton E.
