Plaintiffs are husband and wife who own a virtually unimproved tract of about 14½ acres in the southwest part of the town of Manning. At the time of the condemnation, July 11, 1961, the south side of the tract at its west end abutted the north side of east-west highway 141 for about 162 feet.
