On November 21, 1944, Dorothy Whitney entered into a trust agreement with The National Shawmut Bank of Boston under the terms of which Dorothy Whitney was the sole beneficiary during her lifetime and reserved to herself the right to amend or revoke the trust at any time during her lifetime.
