These cases were brought by the Princeville Canning Company, a canner of sweet potatoes, against two sweet potato growers, Calhoun B. Hamilton and Joe Morris, for damages resulting from an alleged breach of written contract. By supplemental petition in the Hamilton case the plaintiff sought redress against Hamilton for loss of potato crates. The defendants filed exceptions of no cause or right of action alleging the contracts were vague and indefinite...
