On January 26, 1959, at about 7:00 P.M., plaintiff was driving alone in a 1958 Chevrolet automobile in a northerly direction on Route 9 about 15 miles north of Schroon Lake, New York. Defendant Dooley, also alone, was driving a tractor-trailer in a southerly or opposite direction, and the two vehicles collided. The multiple defendants against whom the judgment was rendered are of no consequence on this appeal. The only issue is one of negligence...
