Plaintiff herein, Janet Buras Ard, instituted this action in tort seeking recovery of damages for injuries to her person, loss of the love and companionship of, and for the pain, suffering and death of her 21 month old son, Claiborne Earl Ard, arising out of an automobile accident which occurred at approximately 1:20 P.M., July 10, 1961, approximately two miles south of Franklinton, Washington Parish, Louisiana, on the Franklinton-Covington Highway...
