This is a suit by the State of Louisiana, through the Department of Highways, against Mrs. Helene Reuss Hayward to expropriate a servitude for a borrow pit area. Simultaneously with the filing of the suit petitioner deposited the sum of Seven Hundred Fifty-three ($753.00) Dollars in the Registry of the Court as compensation for the value of the property to be taken.
