This action was instituted by Helen J. Lloyd against the United States of America under the Federal Tort Claims Act. (28 U.S.C.A. § 1346(b) and § 2671 et seq.) The Complaint alleged that the plaintiff at La Puente, California, on November 9, 1960, tripped in front of the United States Post Office.
