We are asked to rule on the validity of a divorce decree obtained in Alabama by a resident of the District of Columbia. The action was brought below by a wife in the form of a bill to affirm marriage (Code 1961, § 16-422) and to nullify an allegedly fraudulent divorce obtained by the husband in Alabama. She alleged that she had never been in Alabama and that the husband had never resided there. Husband in his answer alleged that the wife had voluntarily...
