This case stems from a traffic mishap, when a car owned and driven by Mr. W. J. Bardo was wrecked, and Mr. Bardo was killed. Melvin Dieter, a minor, one of the occupants of the Bardo car, was injured, and brought this action by his father and next friend, for damages for personal injuries. Appellee Byrd is Special Administrator of the Estate of W. J. Bardo. At the close of the evidence for the plaintiff, the Court directed a verdict for the defendant...
