H. J. Massey and wife, Florence, on March 1, 1951, executed an oil and gas lease of 58 acres to Fred Culpepper. One producing well was started in 1954 and completed on June 29, 1956. This suit was instituted on September 30, 1957, by Florence Massey and her children, successors in title of the lessors, against Russell Sapp, et al., present owners of the lease.
