This is a suit brought to recover damages arising from personal injuries that the plaintiff sustained. The injuries were inflicted when the automobile in which she was driving was struck by a car driven by Emmett A. Gibbs. Gibbs, by motion, asked that Helen Gibbs, his wife, be made a party defendant so that they could join in a counterclaim for damages to the automobile driven by Gibbs and jointly owned by them.
