This litigation arose out of a collision of motor vehicles of the parties which occurred in the 300 block of West 9th Street in a business district of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Just prior to the event plaintiff had entered his vehicle, which was parked facing east parallel with the south curb in the space assigned to the first parking meter west of the alley.
