MOORE, Justice.
In an action by a client against his attorney, the attorney is not liable for negligence in the conduct of litigation where, notwithstanding such negligence in defense of a suit, the client has no meritorious defense. 7 C.J.S.Attorney and Client § 146, p. 983; Frost v.
