This action involves two National Service Life Insurance Policies, each in the face amount of $5,000.00, issued to the deceased husband of the appellant, Mrs. Klish. She filed a claim with the Veterans' Administration after her husband's death, and payment was refused on the ground that the policies had lapsed two years before for nonpayment of premiums. She filed suit in the United States District Court and the government moved for a judgment...
