This is an action to recover the amount due on a promissory note given by the defendant and her husband, Houghton N. Sawyer, to the plaintiff. The defense is the statute of limitations. Trial was by court, resulting in a judgment for the plaintiff, and the case is here on notice of appeal from the defendant. The action was originally brought against both Mr. and Mrs. Sawyer, but it appearing that Mr. Sawyer had received a full discharge in bankruptcy...
