JEFFERSON, J.

In a second amended information filed by the District Attorney of Los Angeles County, defendant was charged with five counts of robbery in violation of Penal Code section 211. It was also alleged that defendant was armed with a deadly weapon at the time of the commission of the above offenses. Defendant pleaded "not guilty" and denied that he was armed.
