Plaintiff, State of Louisiana through Department of Highways, filed this suit on July 11, 1960 to expropriate 4.734 acres out of a tract of land situated in Section 84, T 7 S R 1 E, Greensburg Land District, Parish of East Baton Rouge, State of Louisiana located on the southwest quadrant of the Florida Boulevard Circle for a right-of-way for State Project No. 7-09-33.
