This suit has its origin in a prior suit and judgment resulting from action in which the plaintiff-appellee, Rodrigo V. Bernal, was defrauded of a sum of money in excess of $2,000.00 by one Bennie P. Barela, a licensed real estate salesman, who wrongfully converted appellee's money to his own use.
