This is a declaratory judgment action wherein plaintiff sought to have the use of her property declared a legal nonconforming use, or a lawful use under the Chicago zoning ordinance. In the alternative, she prayed that the ordinance be declared void as to her property. The defendant counterclaimed and prayed that plaintiff be enjoined from operating the property as a multiple dwelling...
