Plaintiff, Mrs. Charles S. Pilie, instituted this suit against National Food Stores of Louisiana, Inc., its insurer, American Surety Company of New York and Baton Rouge Coca-Cola Bottling Company, Ltd. for alleged damages sustained by her received when a Coca-Cola bottle upon striking the floor, shattered, causing a laceration of her right foot and an injury to the fourth digital nerve of the right foot.
