This is an appeal by Robert E. Webb from his conviction under an indictment brought by the state of Ohio, charging that he violated the provisions of Section 2903.01, Revised Code, defining and penalizing felonious assault.

Webb was tried before a judge and jury in the Court of Common Pleas of Franklin County. The jury returned a verdict finding Webb guilty of the charge, after which the trial court, acting pursuant to Section 2947.25, Revised Code...
