Defendant taxicab fleet operator appeals from a jury verdict and judgment awarding plaintiff the sum of $2500.00 as damages for personal injuries.

The circumstances giving rise to the suit are as follows: Plaintiff was a passenger riding on the right side of the rear seat in a taxicab owned by defendant and operated by his employee driver.
