Appellee brought this action to recover damages for personal injuries allegedly sustained by her when she was allegedly thrown down the steps of a bus owned and operated by appellant.

The amended complaint averred in substance that appellee was a passenger for hire on a Heidelbach bus on or about the 1st day of September, 1955; that when said bus stopped to permit appellee to alight, and as she was in the process of alighting, appellant carelessly...
