Plaintiff, Melanie Schmidt, Dr. George de Reyna's lessee, instituted this suit against his insurer, the defendant, Indemnity Insurance Company of North America, endeavoring to recover $11,000, representing personal injuries and medical expenses incurred as a result of a fall in the premises designated by the municipal number 2703 North Derbigny Street. She insists that her fall resulted from the worn and defective condition of a sill located therein...
