This appeal was taken by the defendants in one of the eight cases filed against several landowners by Louisiana Power & Light Company, a corporation authorized to do business in Louisiana, engaged in developing, transmitting and selling electricity for power, lighting, heating and other uses, said suits being authorized under LSA-R.S. 19:2(9). The corporation by said suits is seeking to expropriate a strip of ground across the lands of defendants...
