MR. JUSTICE BRYANT delivered the opinion of the court:

This is a writ of error to review the conviction of defendants, John Peterson and Glenn Cherry, for the crime of conspiracy to obstruct the administration of public justice. Defendants were indicted by the Grand Jury of the Criminal Court of Cook County on March 25, 1960, and subsequently tried. Verdicts of guilty were returned by the jury on December 6, 1960, and the jury fixed the punishments at nine months...
