Defendants appeal from judgments of conviction rendered against them on June 30, 1961, convicting each of them of the crime of attempted robbery in the third degree upon respective pleas of guilty. Each was sentenced to a prison term of two and one-half to five years.

By an indictment filed on September 20, 1957, in Bronx County, the defendants were charged with the crimes of kidnapping, robbery...
