On December 5, 1961, the defendant was sentenced for possessing beer as follows: "Whereupon it is ordered by the court that the defendant be confined at work in the prison for women or elsewhere, as the law directs, for a period of nine months; .. . however, the defendant is hereby given leave to serve the said sentence outside of said public works camp, Georgia State Farm, and jail on probation upon payment of a fine of $200.00 cost of prosecution...
