This is an appeal on behalf of an unknown uninsured motorist, denominated as John Doe pursuant to the statute, from a judgment in the amount of $14,000 entered against him on a jury's verdict in favor of the plaintiff, Thomas Preston Brown, who was injured as a result of the alleged negligence of an unknown operator of a motor vehicle while he was riding as a guest in an automobile operated by Edward Eugene Grubbs, a co-defendant.
