Wilma Ruth Dickinson Grider was convicted by the court sitting without a jury of two counts of perjury and one count of conspiracy. Roy Grider was convicted of three counts of perjury and one count of conspiracy. The charges grew out of statements made by each of the defendants in connection with the claim of Wilma Ruth Dickinson Grider under the aid to needy children program.
