This is a slander of title suit instituted by Lee Holmes and others, who alleged that they, as the sole heirs of Jordan Holmes, are the owners of the Northeast Quarter of Section 35, Township 5 North, Range 11 West, by inheritance from Jordan Holmes, who allegedly acquired the property by the prescription of thirty (30) years.
