The parties were married on June 16, 1942, and lived as husband and wife until May 21, 1955. They became parents of Evelyn, born on March 15, 1944. On December 29, 1955, a decree dissolving the bonds of matrimony for extreme and repeated cruelty on the complaint of the wife was entered. The mother was awarded custody of Evelyn, then 11 years of age, with right of visitation to the father. The decree required that...
