TAYLOR, Justice.

Upon plaintiffs' petition this court issued its alternative writ of mandate to require the defendant school district and its trustees to comply with the provisions of paragraph (f) of proposal IV of the plan upon which the defendant district was organized. The district was organized in Benewah county in January, 1949, under the provisions of the "Act for Reorganization of School Districts," S.L.1947, c. 111, I.C. §§ 33-501 to 33-529.
