This suit was instituted by Russell Cherry, against Simon Trevino Salinas, since deceased, seeking to enforce an alleged parol agreement to execute an oil and gas lease upon lands owned by Salinas, and in the alternative for damages for the breach of the alleged parol agreement. There was also an alternate plea to recover the consideration paid, but this part of the lawsuit was severed from the other...
